Leeward Oahu
Kapolei and nearby leeward properties receive strong sun and heat. We review the substrate, color requirements, and exposure before recommending a system.
Local conditions
Leeward Kapolei runs sunnier and drier than most of Oahu. UV-stable resins and reflective color choices aren't optional, dark colors on south walls will chalk and fade within a couple of years.
Most Kapolei and Ewa Gentry communities enforce a documented color palette. We coordinate with your HOA, submit color chips for approval, and keep the paperwork so the file is complete.
The stucco is usually in good shape, but the original builder-grade paint fades and chalks fast. Prep is about washing the chalk off and priming the sound stucco properly, not about crack repair.
Building stock we work on
1990s–2020s stucco tract homes, Ko Olina resort residences and townhouses, and hillside Makakilo two-stories with panoramic sun exposure.
